Service of Radiation-Oncology
Radiation oncology is an advanced branch of medicine for the treatment of cancer. The branch deals with cancer treatment by using the radiation either by photons or electrons which is often abbreviated as RT or EBRT. It involves the medical use of ionizing radiation to kill or control malignant cells in the body. Various types of cancer including Head & Neck, Uterine Cervix, Breast, Lung, Colon, Rectum, Lymphoma, Glioma and many more are treated under radiation oncology.
