Bronchoscopy

Known HP(hypersensitivity pneumonitis) with life threatening hemoptysis.

Emergency fibre optic Bronchoscopy done

Bleeding source identified rt upper and middle lobe. Irrigation done with ADR / trenexa /cold saline BAL taken and sent for relevant investigations

Findings : RMS bronchus collapse with mucous plugging

Result: complete cessation of hemoptysis
