Chairman's Message

BIMR was conceived as a dream by our founder Chairman, Syt. D.P. Mandelia ji, to make world class health care available to the people of Madhya Pradesh and nearby states . It is an honor to head BIMR, a 350 bedded, tertiary care, NABH Accredited, Not-For-Profit super multi-specialty hospital, a nursing college as well as a college for professional studies in Gwalior. It has brought leading edge infrastructure, infinitely experienced human faculty, nursing education and trained technical staff within the reach of our community, in an environment that nurtures excellence and innovation. From a humble beginning of a small 30 bedded hospital in the year 1983, to becoming a 350 bedded Multi Super Specialty Healthcare Institution with two allied colleges, the journey has indeed been truly fulfilling.

Patients remain at the centerfold of our organization. Providing high quality healthcare and building trust in the process has always driven us to be on a continuous journey of excellence, as the quote from Aristotle goes, “excellence is not an act but a habit” keeps us motivated to provide the best of infrastructure, technology and humane aspect of care. "

Today we are one of the largest healthcare institutions in Gwalior-Chambal Sambhag. I could not thank my team enough for their contribution in the development of this organization. BIMR has already developed Centers of Excellence (COE) in many disciplines. We strive to keep upgrading and establishing newer super specialties and COEs therein.Further, we have acquired full NABH accreditation.
